Black Lives Matter

We stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.

We believe that for democracy to be genuine, it must cut anchor from the historical and social contexts which entrench inequality.

Democratic justice relies on dismantling the structures of oppression which have been built into our institutions and our political system.

We want to work with others to root out injustice.

We recognise our own privilege and lack of diversity and we will look at our internal structures and policies, and consider how we can most effectively make a positive change in the world.

We commit to listening to people of colour and being led by your firsthand experiences.
