The latest YouGov mega-poll shows Reform UK within touching distance of forming a majority Government despite winning on 27% of the vote. Labour are just 6% behind Reform UK, but thanks to First Past the Post (FPTP) voting, they get 167 fewer seats!

FPTP continues to punish the Conservatives and the Green Party hardest. The Conservatives win 17% of the vote and just 45 seats, despite winning more votes than the Liberal Democrats who get 78 seats. The Green Party gets just 7 seats from 11% of the vote.

If you compare Reform UK to the Green Party, Reform UK get two and a half times the Green Party vote, but more than forty times as many MPs.

It’s clear that FPTP voting can’t cope with multi-party politics. It’s time for change.
