The latest YouGov MRP seat projections shows just how badly our electoral system copes with multi-party politics -

  • Reform UK within 55 seats of a majority on just 26% of the vote

  • Labour winning twice as many votes as the Green Party and 25 times as many seats

  • Lib Dems comfortably becoming the third party despite more people voting Conservative

  • Green Party and Plaid Cymru winning the same number of seats, despite the Green Party getting 11 times as many votes

These results are more like a lottery than an electoral system. The shape of our next Parliament can’t be left to chance.

It’s time to change the voting system.
