Election Maps UK Nowcast projection

The latest Nowcast projection shows Reform UK just short of a majority in the next Parliament. That’s despite winning the support of less than 3 in 10 voters.

The Conservatives would drop to being the 5th largest party, despite finishing 3rd in votes. The SNP would have more seats than the Conservatives despite winning six times fewer votes. Plaid Cymru win more seats than the Green Party despite the Greens winning eight times as many votes.

Our voting system is becoming a lottery - it’s clearly not fit for purpose any more. It’s time to change it.
