Election Maps UK Nowcast projection

The latest Nowcast projection shows Reform UK just short of a majority in Parliament with just 28.4% of the vote.

Despite only 5.4% vote difference, Labour win 163 fewer seats. The Conservatives end up in 5th place in seats (35) despite winning as many votes as the Liberal Democrats, SNP and Plaid Cymru combined (126 seats in total).

It’s clear our First Past the Post (FPTP) voting system can’t cope with the multi-party politics in the UK today. It’s time to change it.
