Election Maps UK Nowcast projection

The latest Nowcast projection shows Reform UK winning a majority with barely 30% of the vote.

Our First Past the Post voting system gives them 3 times as many seats as Labour despite receiving only 8.5% more votes. Despite only 7.1% vote difference, Labour win 207 fewer seats. The Lib Dems and the SNP win 123 seats with 16.5%. The Green Party and the Conservatives win just 40 seats with 26.9% of the vote.

It’s clear our First Past the Post (FPTP) voting system can’t cope with the multi-party politics in the UK today. It’s time to change it.
