Deletion of the Appendix D Rodell Governance Constitutional Amendment
This will be proposed by Jane Reed
This will be seconded by David Schley
The purpose of this amendment is to restore the constitution to the wording which applied previously, before elections to Rodell took place. The references to Rodell’s governance were only inserted to document Rodell’s governance arrangements when Rodell was semi-autonomous from Unlock Democracy.
Council’s control as the sole shareholder of Rodell will be maintained through Rodell’s Directors, who, after the Council elections in summer 2026 will be Unlock Democracy’s Management Board members.
Amendment: delete Appendix D Rodell Governance of Unlock Democracy’s constitution.
Subject to the AGM agreeing to this constitutional amendment:
● It will take effect immediately after next year’s elections to Council.
This amendment will require a two thirds majority at the AGM to be passed.
